About Me

I am Kayla Anderson, founder of Viktorious Mama. I am a Maternal Mind-Body-Spirit Therapist specializing in ancestral practices for the modern mama. I help you own your power and reclaim your peace in any phase of motherhood by assisting you in aligning your mind, body, and Spirit. I believe that as we heal ourselves, we heal past and future generations. We cause a ripple effect that influences those closest to us and positively shifts the trajectory of our bloodline and legacy.

I am a certified Kemetic yoga instructor, bellydance fitness instructor, birth usher (“doula”), yoni steam practioner, and energy healer. I believe that we each deserve to find our happiness, maintain our healthiness, and embrace our holiness (connection to Source) while holding the title “mother”. This is a necessity in order to do this job well and this is what I help you do. Working with me is like a breath of fresh air. Whether you’re a grandma or new mother, I will awaken your power within, the power of your word, breath, and body. I gently guide you along the journey of loving and returning to yourself. I help you remember the Divine within.

Outside of work, I am a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. I have a B.A. in Psychology from Hampton University and a Master’s in I/O Psychology from The University of Maryland, College Park. I worked in corporate America as an HR professional for many years prior to my shift into a more soul centered career in the healing arts. I have a 4-year-old son and a 3-year-old rhodesian ridgeback. I am in a beautiful co-parenting relationship that constantly reminds me how easeful life can be. And I am deeply spiritual, finding God in nature and much fulfillment through traveling and connecting with foreign places and faces.

As a mother, you hold the keys to generational healing. Through movement, meditation, mantra and community, I help you become viktorious and unlock the door. Mothers throughout time have relied on similar practices to support them through their motherhood journey. It’s now your turn.
