  • Yoga As a Pathway to Body Awareness & Presence

“I remember my very first Kemetic yoga class with Kayla, almost 2 years ago. I walked out feeling so connected to myself and my body. Working with Kayla has given me so many tools to increase my ability to be present as a mom, in my work, and for myself.

Kayla is not just a yoga teacher. She is kind, compassionate, and thoughtful, and extends herself to the energy work process. My sessions with Kayla have helped me unpack so much.

She is trauma-informed and honors bodily autonomy. She reminds me to trust myself throughout the practice. I reach the end of our sessions feeling confident, connected, and with greater agility. I cannot imagine a life without yoga! Through Kayla, I have learned how to create a daily yoga practice that supports every aspect of my life.”

  • From Birth Doula to Bereavement Doula

“Kayla embodies peace, joy, and love. I am so grateful to know her and share space with her because I truly believe God has sent her here to show us how to love ourselves, the world, and each other. And to make peace with the life we have and to find joy in it. Every time I spend time with Kayla, even since the beginning of our friendship, I have left feeling full and inspired. Kayla has been a huge force in helping me heal during the darkest times and a loving, supportive, and amazing friend in the happiest of times. Everyone needs a Kayla. I am so blessed to have her in my life as is everyone that she shares her life with. Thank you for EVERYTHING!”

  • A Safe Space For Mommy & Me

“In my line of work, I understand that some people prefer privacy. And with privacy comes safety and comfortability. The environment Kayla created was gentle, warm, inviting and forgiving. I had to bring my daughter with me, and as mentioned above, it was inviting — however, I’d like to talk about how belly dancing with my daughter was such a cool experience. I can forever refer back to this video and smile. Thank you for working with me as I navigated a new time in my life as a mom.”

  • Immediate Bodily Relief & Comfort

“Thank you for my session yesterday, it was miraculous! I have experienced nerve discomfort in my feet and gas pains throughout the day, however after our session, the nerve sensations in my feet went away and the gas subsided so much that my body was at peace. I closed my eyes and went to sleep for about 30-40 minutes. I felt so much better. Thank you for what you do.”

  • Yoga In Mexico

“My friends and I had the pleasure of working with Kayla during my Bachelorette trip to Tulum, Mexico. I know my review won't fully do her yoga services justice, but I have to express how AMAZING our experience was with her!

Most of us on the trip were fairly inexperienced with yoga but wanted to fully immerse ourselves in the calming, relaxing, and rejuvenating atmosphere of the city. Kayla handled our minds and bodies with care and expertise. She helped us to slow our minds down and ground ourselves in the experience through intentional breathing. Kayla was observant and patient with us and would find ways to incorporate moves that catered to our specific needs as she learned more about us throughout our time with her. Throughout our daily classes with her, she would share the healing factors of each pose and helped us to make sense of the feelings and stretches our bodies were experiencing. I have taken a few yoga classes in the past but Kayla has by far been the best yoga instructor I have had.”

  • Zen- Negril, Jamaica

“Kayla brought an amazing amount of peace to the beach, just when I thought sunrise on the beach in Jamaica couldn’t get any more peaceful. Kayla taught a large group of ladies on a girl’s trip in Negril, Jamaica for four consecutive days. She educated us on Kemetic yoga and the benefits it offers to the mind and body. Most of those that participated in the class had little to no experience with yoga, Kayla was not only able to effectively break down poses so that it was easy to understand for those new to the practice, she provided guidance and modified poses for those that were not able to fully participate. Although we were in paradise, she taught the class as if she was in yoga studio, she was able to cultivate the full yoga experience, providing the sound and scent of a yoga studio, to ensure our whole being was engaged. Kayla’s passion and enthusiasm for teaching the practice is unmatched, she is by far the best yoga instructor I have had. Thanks again Kayla for an amazing yoga on the beach experience! “

  • Wellness Wednesday at NASA

“Kayla was invited to my office (virtually) to teach and tell us about Yoga. Every Wednesday we have what’s called “Wellness Wednesday” so that was the perfect time for Kayla to visit. Kayla told us about the different types of Yoga, meditation and relaxation. She told use about breathing properly. She showed us different exercises. She also showed us the different types of exercises we can do while we are at work at our desks. She told us how beneficial yoga is to us and our body. She also told us about the history of yoga. We still talk about this session in my office. Kayla was very knowledgeable and very informative. I can’t wait to have her back again!”

  • Not A Client, More Like Family

“I really feel that all the preparation we did with you, plus your presence/assistance during the labor and birth led to not only the birth we wanted, but the resulting positive experience. The spiritual connection and support was amazing.

I didn’t feel like a client but more like family. Kayla made me feel like her sister. We just connected. Her positive vibrations radiated and the insight she provided to the birthing experience was unlike no other.

I’m successfully breastfeeding, staying positive, keeping a social life, and navigating the sleep deprivation that having a newborn brings.

The strong support and help provided created a wonderful birth experience. In fact, I could not have imagined or planned for a better experience. Thank you again for your warm hearted, sensitive and professional care.”

  • A God Sent Birth Usher

“Although my labor and delivery did not go as originally planned, Kayla prepared me for things not to go the way I may have planned for and her support and guidance throughout the time leading up beforehand made the situation better for me mentally and physically. Her presence in the moment, encouragement and breathing/pain management techniques that she provided helped me to get through my delivery.

I will never forget how understanding and compassionate Kayla was after my delivery. She not only operated as my doula but also as a very dear friend and sister in this motherhood journey. I wish I could put into words how grateful I am to Kayla for her support to me mentally and physically. Kayla is such a thoughtful individual and I am so glad to have her in my life throughout this process.

From the very first time I met Kayla for a prenatal yoga session at Replenish, I know it was the universe providing me with the doula and support that I was looking for. Kayla is everything that I was praying for in a doula and I am a firm believer that God put her in my life to help usher me into this motherhood.

I feel heard by Kayla, empowered and fully capable to deal with whatever motherhood has to offer. I also feel better about my body mentally and physically and feel more in tune with trusting the timing and process of the woman I am now and will be. I hope more women get to experience Kayla's services.”

  • Flexible Doula Care

“Since the hospital was being difficult and didn't allow Kayla up to support me through laboring I had to advocate for myself, which was empowering. But because I was pretty much alone in the whole process, that's what made the laboring and birthing process brutal.

I really enjoyed Kayla extending postpartum services (as a result of what happened at the hospital) that allowed me to have a safe space to discuss some of the challenges I was experiencing. I also appreciated her watching the girls for me while I rested.

I felt like Kayla and I's energy matched and I liked her calm demeanor. I also liked how there were in-person sessions to learn and do hands-on activities opposed to virtual. It certainly was an overwhelming process but having Kayla in my circle helped me tremendously.

I'm grateful that Kayla is so thoughtful and has additional services (yoga, reiki, etc) and that she is building a community with the other moms that she's helped. I also love how Kayla gave me a new mommy gift and a mother's day gift, tears to my eyes.”

  • Being A First Time Mom

“I wanted to take all the correct steps for welcoming my baby girl. When I got word that Kayla was a yoga instructor and doula I had to get in contact with her! Kayla was amazing! She gave me so much knowledge on birth. The prenatal yoga really helped release stress and loosen me up. On top of everything, she was like my therapist during my pregnancy. She was a safe place for me to express all my concerns, fears and even some of my life drama. My initial goal was to have a water birth and Kayla really made me feel like I can do it. She is always just a call away. She has such a Amazing heart. The day I was having contractions she came right to me. She checked on me after birth and even until today I can still contact her for anything and she is there. If your looking for a doula, I would stop here! You’re in great hands with Kayla.

She also makes these products that I have used on my baby since she was born. The Lavender Air Mist really calms my baby and helps her sleep. The All Purpose Body Butter keeps her skin so smooth. These are literally the only products I’ve used on my baby!”

  • More Than Stretching

“I started doing yoga with Kayla during the beginning of the pandemic. At first, I just thought it was to help with flexibility. but having Kayla lead me in each session has taught me more about myself & being in the present moment. Kayla is an OUTSTANDING teacher & I recommend anyone (Mama or not) to join at least one of her classes/sessions & come with an open mind to what she can do for you!! You will be surprised and want to come back for more I promise!!”

  • Tools For Managing Daily Anxieties

“Classes with Kayla are outstanding! The first class I took with her was during the rear end of my pregnancy. It was absolutely what I needed to get my body and mind ready for labor and delivery. Kayla’s passion for her craft is truly shown through how much work she puts in with her clients. She tailors each session specifically to your needs and goals. She also provides positive affirmations to set the tone for your period of movement. After taking part in her classes, I have learned techniques that help me work through my anxiety and the little obstacles that come about during my day. Kayla is very knowledgeable and professional and I highly recommend working with her!”

  • From The Chair to The Mat

“Kudos to my beautiful granddaughter Kayla for introducing me to and teaching me yoga. Each day at 6:30 AM we meet for our class which has truly helped energize me and rid me of my lower back pain. I’ve also lost 5 pounds around the mid-section. Our classes have progressed from chair yoga to a more strenuous practice on the mat. I find I have more energy during the day since starting yoga and I am more connected to my breath deepening my ability to remain present. Thank you, Kayla, for all you do!”
